Immunization Update for the Clinician

The Montreal Children’s Hospital (McGill University Health Centre) is pleased to offer the third edition of Immunization Update for the Clinician - a one-day course designed to update family physicians, pediatricians, residents, nurses and other allied health professionals on the everchanging world of recommended immunizations in childhood.

Course Objectives

After this intensive full-day program, the registrant will be able to:
  • Review the pediatric and adult immunization schedule along with strategies to achieve optimal vaccine coverage
  • Understand data on new vaccines, new indications for old vaccines, and the epidemiology of the diseases to be prevented
  • Discuss controversies regarding certain vaccines presently available (HPV, Varicella)


Study Credit Hours

For this course, we have requested CME study credits from McGill University, Centre for Continuing Health Professional Education office, which sponsors continuing medical education for physicians. The Centre for CCHPE McGill University is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS), and through a reciprocal agreement with the CACMS may award AMA PRA category 1 credits in the United States.
